There seem to be two major approaches to reading documentation. Most people would rather not to have to read any documentation at all. They would prefer that the program simply do what they want. Some people feel more secure if they can read and understand what a program does before trying to use it.
Probably neither group will be totally happy with MathPad's documentation. MathPad attempts to implement the "do what I want" interface but of course sooner or later you will have to read some documentation to figure out how to get what you really wanted. The built in help file gives a few hints about what MathPad can do. The files in this folder give more information.
Those expecting a nice long manual explaining all the details of MathPad's operation may be a disappointed at the minimal descriptions here.
Rather than attempt to describe all the details, MathPad documentation consists mainly of examples. Most of the documentation files are MathPad documents that can be evaluated. The best way to learn what a particular command does is to experiment with the examples and see the results. The file "MathPad.doc" attempts to at least mention all of MathPad's features. Read this one first to get some idea of what all is available. Then check out the other files on the subjects you are interested in.
The "Examples" folder should also be considered part of the documentation. Look through the examples for more ideas on how to use MathPad.
